Here's a repainted-green 1979 Raleigh Competition frame and bike on ebay. The seatpost is campagnolo. The headset is also campagnolo and the fork chrome and headset chrome are in good condition (email me for 3 extra pictures if interested). Those two parts alone are worth $60. The cranks are nervar, and somebody has done a bad job of attaching braze-on cable guides to the top tube. The rest is japanese(shimano 600 and suzue) :
The fork lugs and tips match the NOS 531 competition forks that arrived at my house last week. This would make a good restoration project for somebody 6'3" with long (36") legs.
There are no bids yet. That's a good deal fora raleigh 531-throughout competition frameset. Unfortunately I need a 24.5" competition frameset, not a 25"+ or 25.5" frameset.
