Mr. Sachs,

I have read many others also comment on the decorative nature of seat-stays. I suppose many also would similarly feel that old style Hetchins curly-stays would also be rather ineffective. If any dissenters are about please feel free to chime in. However most people I've spoken to feel think that pencil chainstays do make a difference.
