Did you know how much it was going to cost before you placed your bid? If not, why didn't you ask before bidding? If so, since you still chose to bid, how do you justify heaping disparagement on the seller based solely on the cost of shipping?

Some folks charge for "packing and handling" or whatever they might choose to call it. That is their business and their choice. Your business, and your choice, is learning what shipping costs will be and factoring them into your bid decision. They take care of their business, you take care of yours. What could be more simple than that.

None of this is to defend what this particular seller is offering. I don't know them, and I am not in a position to pass judgement on the value of their wares. I am just someone who sells and buys stuff -- on eBay, from businesses, and privately -- and who long ago learned to factor shipping/handling costs into my purchase decisions.
