f.w.i.w. I don't think the early transfers were ever produced as waterslide, but I don't know about the more modern (gold-banded Ti) ones.
also I know (f.w.i.w.) that someone who is putting thick layers of wet-looking clear coat on a bike probably doesn't care about the originality of their 531 transfers.
HOWEVER...if anyone were to want their bike to appear as original, then the original, dry-fix transfers are the only way to go. I've sold a few sets, in both english (with fork transfers) and french language (alas no fork transfers here.) Check the past e-bay listings if you like, or (as I've said in the past) I MIGHT be persuaded to sell a set, but I'd prefer swaps for good stuff I need (just don't actually ask if I know what I need!) <smile>
