Mike, you'll be interested to know I did a telephone interview with Peter Weigle for the August issue of American Randonneur. The article is likely to feature a picture of your frame. Peter talked at length about the evolution of his frames, as well as the current trend among some U.S. framebuilders to make bikes for randonneuring. An interesting read. The upcoming issue will also feature an interview with listmember Jan Heine, who discussed the "magic" of the French brevet bikes. For listmembers who are not RUSA members, the articles will eventually be posted at http://www.RUSA.org. Newsletters will be mailed later this month.

Hi CR folks, After seeing the pictures of a JP Weigle frame on the list, I thought I'd comment on the one I bought from him at the Cirque. It is the frame he brought this year to the Cirque that had racks and lighting on it (photos of it are on the CR site and also on the Pacenti lug site). This frame is a fantastic ride. Comfortable yet quick (it is giving up nothing on timed runs to my evil &#% Pinarello Prince). Plus, it is gorgeous to look at. I might have to sell some vintage stuff so I can buy one to keep as a clean wall hanger - cause this one is getting used! I want to thank everyone out there who supports American framebuilders and allows these works of art and performance to endure.
