Pic of the Day 14th July Gimondi 1968
One for the Bianchi fans.
1968 Italian National Champion Felice Gimondi in full flight. Note the Universal brakes with white band of rubber on the adjusting barrels (on the levers levers), NR rear der, 144 bcd chainrings, tape on toe straps where they contact the sides of the shoes, integral headset with painted lugs, no chrome except on crown and drop-out faces.
So, who built Gimondi's frames?
