Oooh! Those are the elusive multi-bolt-circle Campy Record Pista cranks. Super-rare, they were reported to be hand-made by a small band of Campi tifosi in small batches in dark caves in the late 1960s. Because of their special design, they could only be installed and removed with ball-pein hammers of at least 22 ounces in weight, hence the tell-tale markings. ;-) Cheers, Greg Parker Ann Arbor, Michigan

A fun little quiz:
Can you tell me what's special about these Campagnolo cranks?
No prizes, but for extra credit can you tell me where to see similar cranks?
