Well I started this all off(or maybe the auction winner did) I
think many of us look for bikes from our past or bikes we have an
emotional investment in.
I remember those early DE ROSAs which came in from TALBOTS in SAN
MATEO ,as I recall ,and would like to have one. The core of my bike
collection are bikes from my younger days,the worn LEGNANO I rode many
miles on,the BIANCHI TEAM I sold($150) to finance my CINELLI(which was
subsequently stolen in a home burglary in 1980.....@#$%^ bike thieves!!)
These bikes I have spent time and effort to recreate but If I were
able to recover that CINELLI ,as the commercial
says................."PRICELESS"
