I have been fortunate enough to churn through many bikes over the past few years, but there are only a couple I regret selling. One of those was a black with silver splatter, chromed head tube lugs and stays and fork, Tommasini SLX Super Prestige. I believe I sold it to a list member in Texas, and I knew right after it was gone I had made a mistake.

I have spent the past couple of years looking for a replacement, and fortunately I found a near new Tommasini SLX Super Prestige (plus a near new Tommasini SL at the same time!) this past spring and built the Super Prestige up. I haven't ridden much this summer, but every ride has been on it.

I love everything about the Tommasini. The ride is wonderful, and I am comparing it to bikes with the same components. The workmanship (from what I can tell) is very nice. The paint and chrome hold up great, and I love the look and detailing.

These Tommasini's are what I see in my mind when I think of the bragging on classic Italian lugged steel.
