Hey Biemmezeta is my bag baby! They are not uncommon here in Boston, I've seen a couple of messengers on 'em. Here's a link to my chronostar pista http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/chucktaylor.htm I'm sure others of you have pics of your fixed at this site (I know ChuckS. does anyway). I also have a chronostar road with a similar rear end and ultra short wheelbase (around 96 cm I think)and very light too (under 17lbs).

Like Col. Lou sez there were several other models but of particular note is the chronoSTIFF which has a straight bladed fork - crown and all - brazed in for the seatstays.

I've got some of the original marketing literature and would love to discuss these bikes if anybody's interested!

Richie mentioned that Biemezeta was the Italian builder with the wishbone stay. Below you will see that the model was the Chronostar, which was at least made in 1985. There were other models in the guide, but I cut them for this post. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL

BIEMMEZETA: Italy, 011-39-429-780788. Tanner Cycle, Peabody MA 01960. Province of Padova, Italy. Italian threading. Investment cast lugs and bottom bracket shell. Columbus tubing. Models: Chronostar 85 SL (Wishbone seatstay)
