Subject: [CR]re Campagnolo SR brake shoe studs......

Hi all, well another job finished today, yes I have managed to make some by modifying M6x1 SS countersunk screws, I do remember someone writing a while ago about some studs being to short also, something to do with OT Triomphe brakes or something else maybe being thicker thru the caliper arm. I have measure GS and Record arms and they are all 5.40mm thick. As far as I can tell I only needed the longer studs because the OMAS nuts are 1.00mm thicker than the Campagnolo steel items, maybe someone else can comment. I know some may think why bother for 1.00mm, well when you see the before and after you would understand......regards wayne davidson Invers NZ.......
