Yes, the "T" stands for touring. I guess they had seperate serial numbers for the G.T..

Actually, if it's an early one, it probably would be worth checking into. I have number "0345" here; it was given to me. Missing fork. Needs some work and a repaint. It's 56cm. Check into the serial number. A friend has number "0183" and it's a very nice piece. It may be too nice for a bike rental in Seal Beach.
