There appears to be a roman numeral V on the seat tube. I believe this equates to what Browning called "Grade V" which was their best model. These Grade V models came in Sierra Gold and Midnight Black colors. The ad for them, in 1973 BIKE WORLD, says, ".......the frame is lightweight Belgian steel with brazed steel lugs." $239.50. The Grade I was $119.50 and the Grade III was $167.50. They apparently skipped grades II and IV.
