Original replacement Campagnolo Hoods are a hard go! When you find and for sure you would like to keep them as long as you can.

If you live and ride where the sun shines a lot! When stopping for a extended amount of time try to put your rig under the shade! If in the sun......Then for sure the direct sun light will take it out on the hoods..Counter this with 2 small rags, one to cover each hood.

BTW: Anybody knows of the guy in Southern Cal who was punching out the Campagnolo reproduction hoods? I'm sure that people would pay the same price for blanks! I understand that the material used on these hoods were a step up from the Campy stuff! Meaning lasting longer. $ 50.- a pop may sound like a lot of money.........But hey if it's a better product then why not.
