Found some info on this Cinelli model through googling.
>From a FOR SALE in 2003: "The Cinelli Tokyo '64 was the 1985 project of Antonio Columbo. Only 300 of these were made and only 75 were sent to the States.Columbus SL tubing.Original Cinelli lugs, sloping fork crown.Rare rose color (most were silver). Chrome fork crown, tips, headlugs, right chainstay. Full Super Record group, Cinelli VIP bar/stem/saddle."

A story about Cinelli said that one of their milestones was: "The Olympic Tandems for Rome and Tokyo. (1960-1964)"

Another reference to Cinelli track tandems: "Cinelli built track tandems for the Rome and Tokyo Olympics."

Earlier in this thread Kurt Sperry posted this photo of a Cinelli Tokyo that he found on the internet: http://homepage2.nifty.com/k_gallery/org_pict_1_01.jpg

Where do all these bikes disappear to?
