Hi guys and sorry for using the list for overtly commercial reasons.
Many guys on the list do buy from me, so I would like to post a notice here, so that everyone knows what is going on.
I have taken on some other work that will keep me from committing the time that I need to run Classic Bikes properly (if I ever managed to run it properly!). This situation will last until about February 2005. After that I will be back to Classic Bikes full time (apart from racing!).
This will not affect any out standing orders and will not affect the building and sale of Bates frames. It is business as usual for frames.
One of the things it will hopefully allow me to do is start to sort out exactly what stock I have. I do have literally tons and tons of vintage UK bike parts. So when I restart back in the new year I should have a better idea of what I do and do not have. What I do have is what must be the worlds largest stock of Chater Lea chainrings. Beautiful!!!!!!!
