Do you have the spelling of the first name correct? Googling turns up several hits if you use Groene Leeuw. Appears to have been a team. One quote: "If you speak about key-positions in the US Postal-Berry Floor team, you can take that very literally when talking about Julien De Vriese. In 1963 already, at a time most of us still had to be born, Julien took part in the Tour as a mechanic for the first time with Wiel's-Groene Leeuw, a team that has long since been forgotten"

Subject: [CR]Greone Leeuw information, anyone?
Any on the list have information that he or she could share with me about a Belgium bike manufacturer named, Greone Leeuw? The example I have is a 1950's (I think) track bike, painted green (what else, huh?), twin-plated fork crown, nervex lugs, French threads, and no tubing marker. Very cool headbadge. This particular one came from Michigan; I am the third owner; the first raced it and he was of Belgium heritage. There does not appear to be a serial number; the bottom bracket has the old Nervex lug engraving with the various degree markings; there is a, however, a "3" stamped in another away from the Nervex lug engraving.
Any information on such a bike manufacturer would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Cheers.
