Availability depends on your patience. If you can wait a week to a month they always show up on ebay or some other venue. With our local batch of swaps coming up I am sure they will turn up. I passed on two at the last T-town swap. One was the c-clamp style by Park and the other was the long handle type but I cannot remember the manufacturer. I got one at a swap a few years back for an unbelivable price. Before that I used the double nut and plastic hammer routine. This can be a tough road to go but it works. The only care to be taken is to prevent the pin from bending. This same care must be taken with the press as it can bend a tight pin also. You have to concentrate the force perpendicular to the pin to avoid this.
