Please be aware that Parcelforce has a size limit. Max weight 30kg. Max Length 1.5m. Length & Girth combined 3.0m. For the unconverted this means a maximum length of 59 inches, and a combined length and girth of 118 inches. My local village office is not too strict about this, but the main one in town measures everything large. It can be quite difficult to get a complete bike into a box of this size with adequate packing material, but if the wheels are to be rebuilt anyway they can be stripped, and the hubs used as fork end and dropout braces, the rims then taking up much less room.
