Interesting.

I sent a message to the seller some weeks ago stating that there were issues with these decals being as represented. My comments hinged on her phrase " They are the original thin water transfer decals."

I am fairly certain that Genuine Reynolds decals were never available as water transfer.. They are either varnish apply (old) or pressure sensitive peel-and-stick (more recent.)

In addition, I mentioned to her that these Reynolds items, and the Columbus decals she sells, look in the photos to be the "better-than-original" quality USA made repops. These reproduction decals are also peel-and-stick. I told her that the very good screen registration and likelihood of not having the adhesive "slime out" like the real items do, might make them more attractive to buyers....

In any case, IMO the decals she is selling cannot be as described. She sent back a very polite thanks and said that she was selling a large estate of her dad's she didn't know much about bikes, yada yada...I THOUGHT that she stated that she would rectify her auction wording. Apparently not.
