Brian Blum took the words right out of my mouth. I will second using
pedal washers. Along with regular checkups (sound familiar?) it is
cheap insurance.
I figure that I ride at least 9000 miles a year, and I haven't broken a
crank arm yet. Of any variety. Old or new.
