I for one enjoy the directness of Dale´s posts. So many members in this list post their opinions in very veiled ways, and thus escape "punishment" because they didn´t use a four letter word, but very neatly paraphrased one. This is even lower than directly confronting someone.
Of course in a group of this size there will be disagreements of all sorts, and several folks need to measure their big heads against others to establish some imaginary pecking order.
I, for one, have a life outside of classic bicycles and do not need to justify my existence by rubbing other poeples noses in not being able to find the manufacturing dates one this or that thingamajig.
Having learned a lot about bicycles on this list and something about human nature I believe that there are some people out there, not limited to this list, who need to sit back and look at themselves from a more, shall I say, objective standpoint and realive that the Sun is the center of this universe.
I haven´t met more than three guys on this list in person, but even if I had, I am positive that I would have a hard time judging their true natures.
If anybody feels offended by this post, then that must be because you felt I was talking about you. Good.
