The '73 Paramount would have come with Mavic Montlery rims, probably with knured sidewalls. Date codes on the rims are often the year before frame manufacture (as are the ones on the Campy components). I believe the Weinmann wood-filled rims could still be had in '73 for extra cost. GP4s came much, much later. The spokes would have been butted Union chrome plated 14-15 ga with long 4-flat nipples and the hubs Campy Record hi-flange.
