The races that are pressed into the pedal bodies are different. # 4026 vs. # 672. (Late Gran Sport pedal bearing races are yet another part number...). It's a pretty big job to switch all the required parts around. I've never been brave enough to try it (yet). Has anyone done it properly with success? If so, how did you pull the races without damaging them? > Someone posted something about installing a steel axle in an SR or a Ti axle in an SL this morning, but I deleted the emails and don't remember who posted it. Would you please resend to me? I just received a beat pair of SR pedals and am wondering about installing the Ti axles in some better SL bodies. I don't remember if that is the same as you are trying to do or the
opposite.
