Overall, though, tubulars on eBay go for a lot less than clinchers wth comparable quality rims and the same model and condition hubs. Most buyers seem to have a phobia about tubulars the same way they do about French thread. I've actually started riding sewups more again lately just because I was able to get several nice pairs of tubular wheels cheap on eBay.

You are right. Today though there is less than a page of mismatched this and that but some prices are under $10. With wheels good ones are worth paying for; especially used. There is a neat pair of Clinchers on E-BAY with High Flange hubs listing at $153 with several bids and a few days to go so there is some wide variance.

Depends on the condition. I have offered a pair to this list today with good, true, rims, Hard Ano, nice tires and Freewheel in good shape for about what the rims used to cost but the hubs are always the prize.
