Greg, and other Cinelli afficianado's
Good Spottin' Greg Ah ha !!! I think the buyer wanted the bike for one og the bike's components And now has relisted to recover (some of) his investment This bike (which I think is the very same that sold recently) sold for a little over $1100 The only question I have is "How much could that early generation NR Front Derailleur with the built-in cable stop is worth ? " I don't see any reference in the posting, and I remeber the reference from the previous posting because my Cinelli has the very same "early generation NR Front Derailleur with the built-in cable".
On another note, I should re-introduce myself to the List (back from about a year off the List). I am still slowly learning about lightweight classic bikes, I deeply admire the builders among us and appreciate that having their skill and knowledge (as our educators and mentors) on the CR List, learning from them and the experienced contributors to the List is an amazing gift for guys like me. I am always impressed with the quality of the dialogue and the generous sharing of information.
One last note, on the 3rd Wednesday of every month there's a 7pm gathering at Mike Barry's shop in Toronto ( http://www.bikespecialties.com if you need directions ), it's kind of a retro-gathering, the "No Click Club". Toronto is a wonderful city, please try to join us, each of you has an invitation !!
Create a great day !!! Wayne Jolly (The ride today got kinda chilly after 6pm but we got in a solid 2hrs...YES!!!) Toronto, Canada
