Re: God and Michelangelo
If nobody objects, I'd like to be Pope Julius II and commission JB to paint the ceilings of my soon to be constructed bicycle chapel as well the garages below....allegorical style painted ceilings with the greatest moments in cycling all surrounded in Celeste as well as several triptychs with Merckx, Hinault, Anquetil, Coppi, Bartali, Gimondi, Bobet, Kelly, Moser, The 2 Riks, Binda and so on -lets not forget the Pelissier Bros. Stain glass clerestory windows featuring the great marques, Automoto, Bianchi, Gloria etc. What else is there...oh yeah...an inlaid marble floor featuring the big oval Campagnolo world logo. I just have to figure out where the 'Flying Scott' will be proximately featured!
Just musing on a Sunday afternoon....home remodel plans in hand ;^)

I've seen the work of both these artists and it is superb. Brian restored my '76 Masi, and I have a Rivendell A/R painted by JB. <snip> Regards, Carlo Carr New Orleans
