Since Mario is the topic du jour. I stopped by Albert's cycle in Westwood, NJ because hanging in the front window was a 50 cm track bike made by...you guessed it, Signore Confente. The shop owner, Mark Albert told me he took it in on trade about 15 years ago for a BMX bike.
I asked how much as I took out my checkbook and he quickly retorted, "its not for sale". End of conversation.
Oh well, I did snap a few digital pictures of the bike if anyone is interested.
