I have to admit I 'couldn't ride this past saturday for a major raeason here in the SF bay area: it was cloudy in the morning, with possible showers int he afternoon. Of course I was duped by the weather station and it ended up being a not too chilly, breezy and sunny afternoon wityh birds chirping.
Sorry for the facewash.......
Tom Martin Oakland CA where the weather is always fair and so is the riding. but we have earthquakes

Then you won't mind me mentioning that the weather was absolutely lovely for the Audax Alpine Classic, held in Bright (northern Victoria) on Saturday. 200km of sheer bliss, including Tawonga Gap (885m), Falls Creek (1560m), Tawonga gap again, and Mt Buffalo (1330m), dropping down to 300m in between each climb. Isn't it funny how even just a couple of days after such a ride you start to forget the pain...
