Howdy folks.
Having read this thread, I have a question for all of you. It is conceivable/reasonable to think that a bike shipped from Europe around Nov. 20th (allegedly by air mail) would not have arrived yet and everything still be on the up and up? I am in this situation now, and while I still don't really think I am being scammed I am beginning to wonder if the bike is ever going to come. I missed my window of opportunity with Paypal as I thought it quite likely the bike would take longer than 30 days. I have filed a protection claim with eBay because I don't want to end up with nothing...
Thanks,

How did you manage to file a complaint within 30 days -and- wait 5 weeks
for shipping? You must have a Tarsus hiding in there amongst the bike bits ;-)
I have made purchases from Charlys Auktionen in the past, and never had a problem with delivery -- although shipping was always slow. With certain overseas sellers I am accustomed to waiting weeks and weeks for items to
arrive, and Charlys is one of them.
I wonder how much of the recent problem has to do with greater scrutiny of packages arriving in the US from overseas. If that is a factor I also wonder if packages from certain countries are scrutinized more, and/or if the manner of packaging and the completeness of identification by the shipper might play a role.
