Those are the words I wanted to hear. There was a time when panic almost set in- Campy improved their FD with the clip, then the bulge (maybe not an improvement, but they shifted better for me)then SS screws, then slotted cage, four slots, three slots, then the non-pointed front to save weight (these somethimes saved more weight than intended when the derailleur bailed friom the bike and dangled from the cable)
Now it's good to know that the ones I didn't dump are OK . Hey, maybe the Biopace rings will become even more popular.
Larry Black Mt Airy, Md. That's a pretty early NR front derailleur, no circlip for the cage and the frame doesn't have the reinforment bulge added later. Its as clean as your going to get for an early restoration. And does a Super Record front work any better?
