A few items to make space for ongoing projects:
- NOS Jack Taylor frame set. Yes, NOS. I ordered this and got something other than I had ordered - it's to small for me, so it's right for you! Dimensions: st - 25", tt - 22 1/2", chain stays - 17 1/4", wheelbase 40 1/1", rear spacing - 126mm, seat post - 27.0mm. A perfect "fast weekend" classic! This is one of the last that Norm built, he says he isn't going to build anymore, so.. Black (with a few chips, nothing major), single color, rather agrarian with a slight run behind the head tube. Standard braze ons. Dropouts have eyelets. Short reach brakes might work maxxed all the way out, normal reach would be better. It came with a bottom bracket and headset already fitted and a plain, straight tube Selcof seat pin inserted in the seat tube. This frame is completely fillet brazed from 531ST tubes - the 531 decal says "Competition" but the frame is ST as the seat tube takes the 27.0mm diamter seat post - the identifying characteristic of ST tube gauge. Any ways - $545 plus $37.50 for shipping/ins.
- NOS Jack Taylor stem. I had Norm braze up this stem for me, it is mad up of 531, has a 6 1/2" long quill (Nitto Technomic sorta long) with a 5" (c-c) long extension. It has not been plated yet and is in the raw. Has the Taylor stamping by the handlebar clamp. Got it for the above frame. $45 plus $7.50 shipping/ins.
- Scruffy Simplex seat post in 27.0mm for above. Early style emblem. I got hosed on this by a list member but it works perfectly and if you only have an inch and a half extended up from the seat tube, it isn't to bad. $30, $5 shipping.
- NOS TTT early style stem. 135mm extension. Got it originally for the above - perfect, early style with all decals intact. $45, $5 shipping.
- NOS Ideale model 92H. Shaped like a B17. Black, large copper rivets, chrome frame and seat tube clamp. $85 plus $7.50 shipping/ins.
* NOTE - buy the JT frame, JT stem and scruffy Simplex seat post all for $625, and shipping/ins will only be $30.
