Hi, Tom and all,

This is NOT a first generation front.

1) It should have sloted screw at back of upper pivot shaft, but this one is a plain, the later one has "C" retaining ring.

2) The outer cable stop is built in but it has slot for inner cable, this indicates later model. ( it is from late 60's to early 70's)

3) The bottom end of cage blades are screwed with hex nut but older one was rivetted.

4) The upper pivot arm could be chrome plated bronz material but I cannot tell by those photos.

Best regards to all,

KEN TODA, snow melting HIgh Point, NC.
