I did'nt say what it was famous for! But seriously brewers have a long history in sponsoring cycle trade teams and races. Pelforth France that really is dreadful stuff. Amstell Holland and Lowenbrau Germany. Don't you have a Coor's Classic? If you are ever in England the "Porter" style beer is worth trying. Very dark in colour and not unlike Guinness in taste. Get's its name from being the favorite drink of London market porters. Has anyone got any photos of these 1960 Continental beer sponsored cycle trade teams or can you name anymore?
