Mark,

Trying to draft me now is even harder; if I ride my 650c wheel bike. Just ask Jan J. what it's like. I try to sit up as much as I can, but it doesn't seem to help much.

Perhaps you are one of those responsible for giving me some of my nicknames in the old days; my favorite is "the invisible man". The "gnat" and the "pest" were popular as well. Pain in the ass rounds out the list.

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA I've got a few complaints of my own for YOU guys! Ever think about how little draft I get off of your KNEECAPS! NOOOOOOO!

All this chat and whining about wee bikes... What about us BIG guys? It's very hard to find nice 63cm and up bikes! I feel fortunate to own a few, but most of them have horrendously short top tubes (57 - 58cm) for a long arm, long torso guy such as myself. Rare are the bikes with 60+ cm top tubes that allow a stem of less than 14cm to fit!

So when you come across those big guy bikes that are just too large, give guys like me and Mark Petry a thought... And don't get me started about racing with Brian Baylis in the 70's and trying to draft him!

The largest bike I owned was a 66cm. Singer now in the capable hands of Jim Cunningham @ Cyclart. The steerer tube was longer than the fork blades!
