I am not exactly sure what you mean here.. Is it a brazed on part or a part of the as stamped seat lug?

That is part of the stamped seat lug and a fairly easily crushed and squished area,
Usually it does not end up fudged because of the right or wrong bolt used, but rather by over tightening due to ham fisted mechanics or mis-fitting seat post, ie., seat post fit in frame.
So the first thing to do is to make absolutely certain you have a proper fit. The frame internal diameter can get gouged and spread apart by poor mechanical processes.. and/or, the seat post can be undersized. This is one area in which Campagnolo is one of the most reliable diameters but even they can be a hiccup away from correct. 27.2 is almost always correct in these better 531 frames so I assume that is what you have?
If all is correct as above and you still are fearing distortion of the seat post binder area, a very smalI thin shim (shudder) could help.
Now, after saying all that, there WAS a larger diameter Campagnolo seat post binder allen key bolt set.. Relatively obscure part. Other members may be able to quote outside diameters but I think it was in the range of 10 mm in dia. vs the 8 mm normal size or similar?
