I have an EDCO rear derailleur and it is a re-badged Simplex Super LJ 6600. Very nice part but with Suntour pulleys/wheels. Not sure if EDCO did this or a previous owner. The derailleur is marked "Competition" only.

i've got a couple of their BBs and have been really impressed with their seals. HOWEVER, i did blow a bearing in one just a couple of weeks ago. as i stood up to crank up a short, steep hill, i hear/feel a grind and a clunk from the BB region.... then the BB goes loose. the drive side bearing split the inner race down the center - part of the race floated towards the center of the axle and the balls/cage were destroyed. SO, anyone got any cartridge bearings - or know where i can get some. the bearing was an IKS, #60803RS

also, speaking of EDCO, i've got some catalogs from the early 90's. they had almost an entire groupo - mostly rebadged from other makers. if anyone is really interested, email me off list and i'll post some scans next week.
