I've posted some photos from the retro ride in North Baltimore County on October 6th at: http://community.webshots.com/album/214832596ziSzcg I apologize for not focusing on riders as much as bikes.

The weather was sunny and crisp with a pretty fair breeze building as the day went on. There was a nice crowd with about 20 or more souls and a raft of cool bikes to peruse. I had my Richard Sachs Tourer for the anticipated hills, though I managed the ride without going into my granny. Marty Walsh and Harvey Sachs were there when I got there an hour early having driven up together. Mark Poore had driven up the night before and was there too. There were a bunch of local people not on the CR list with some nice classics, a couple of Masi's, and other Italian stallions as well as some 'Merican bikes too. A couple of modern rides, but mostly classic, if not in our terms. Bill Hale, from the DC area normally rides a fixed Alpine, or Falcon track bike, instead brought his Austro Daimler. Harvey had that much discussed Hetchins tourer with matching serial number rack (and it was in my size!). Really pretty! I took a bunch of photos of it before he put the standard pedals with toeclips and Hetchins straps back on it.

Harvey had a bunch of parts laid out for sale, didn't see any takers. I traded/sold a couple of track bars to Bill Hale and got some vintage tug nuts back.

As usual, I swept the ride with a friend gracious enough to keep me company. A couple on an off topic tandem were kept in sight on the uphills. And Bill Hale joined us the last few miles after suffering a flat tire. Bobby Phillips, a local legend rode up behind me and gave me a push on the first hill. I hadn't seen him at the ride start. He later got together with Mark Poore. They were old racing buddies whose families used to hang out together back in the day. It seemed the ride group broke up fairly quickly at the end, but then I WAS the last one in. It appeared a good time was had by all.
