Subject: [CR]FS. English Armstrong frame, 26".

Hello All,

I'm selling a early 60s Nervex Professional (with Nervex Pro BB) Armstrong frame, 26" center to top. The finish is original, it was a flamboyant lime green but has faded to the silver base coat. I did not detect this until I removed the clamp on components, as the silver is very consistent and looks very uniform and presentable. Black double box lining, Armstrong headbadge, world bands and a small Armstrong decal on the seat tube, chrome fork crown, stays and fork blades compliment the frame. There are no downtube or tubing decals. Lloyds sells Armstrong decals. Braze ons are as follows: top of top tube cable stops, bottom of top tube pump pips, derailleur cable stop on chain stay and cable stops on downtube for barcons. The drop outs are Campagnolo with right rear D.O. sporting a hole for the Campag Sport rear derailleur. Worksmanship is first class to my eye, the seatstay attachment is long, flat and elegant. The seat stays are beautifully tapered, braze work is very clean in all areas.

There are some scratches and light peppering on the some of the chrome, but nothing too bad, as it takes a good shine.

I'd like to get $175.00 or best offer. Shipping is extra, or pick it up at Velo Swap. Sale is final. I didnt realise that I had so much to say about this frame...

Regards,
Dave Martinez
