Barry Harvey would know. I think he's in Santa Monica, CA.

Harvey Titanium Inc., Santa Monica, Calif., a unit of Metals USA, inaugurated a program in 1994 to provide Boeing with material, mainly flat-rolled products, produced by RMI. The agreement runs through 1998. Barry Harvey, president, pointed out that his company has certain existing orders with RMI, apart from the Boeing contract, that run into 1999.

Anyway, Barry Harvey helped Teledyne with the design of the Titan. As I recall the frames cost about $450 when complete Peugeot PX10's cost $300 including sew up tires.

Santiago Cycling has one hanging in the shop.

I'm fairly sure (but not 100% certain) that the Teledyne Titans were TIG welded with a filler. Anyone know for sure?
