To me, the SunTour downtube ratchet shifter is perhaps the best design ever: works beautifully, elegant design, distinctive look, feel, and sound, and reasonable price. To be sure, not the lightest ever. Perfect for winter commuting bikes, "riders" of all kinds for which it is age-appropriate.

Because I like them so much, I keep forgetting that I have enough, and "rescuing" more at swap meets. It is time to share the wealth: lighten my pile of spares and your wallet just a tad on each side.

I don't know how many there are, but probably 3. one or two pair have cables. At least one is missing the clamp bolt, so I'll include one that is functional equivalent, even if it doesn't look exactly right (but no 8-32 round-head screws with square nuts, I promise). At least one has Simplex-style wings on the adjusting bolts (ugh) and at least one has screws. I don't know if they are the finer or coarser ratchet, and don't plan to check. All are users, guaranteed to work properly. All have some mixed patina of dirt, worn finishes, and maybe a little corrosion where it doesn't hurt.

Don't laugh, but $12/pr, shipped in US, seems reasonable for one of the nicer artifacts available.

As is my custom, will choose winners 24 hr. after digest appears, if more than one person wants them. And always interested in interesting bits and pieces I don't have.

I think this is all for the current round; don't want to use up too much marital (not martial) capital in the post office line, and running out of little boxes.

Thanks
