Subject: [CR]Campy older vs current

Perhaps what we are lamenting is not only the fact that specific old parts like the hoods are no longer being made, though that would be helpful, but also that the current products for the last umteen years have not had the same strength in terms of design appeal. If light is all you are after, someday people will be riding on columns of air. If Campy made current day goods that had a longevity of attractiveness, the older things might not have the same appeal. The older components are more fun to use as well, the younger generation doesn't know that.
