There are manufacturing savvey people who can speak to this concept with knowledge; yet, merely to introduce it -
I am assuming the tooling would be a multiple slot mold to produce many hoods at a shot. That being the case, the mold would be a mix of products for the purpose of leveling production costs across several products. In the case of the CR small run, the mold could contain two products: the hoods and a more commercially viable product (I don't know what's soft rubber - a pet toy? kids bike horn? a ball? cup holder? water bottle insulator?. ...) Well, you get the idea.
Any inventors out there?

I am up for that! Should we start a consortium? Greg Parker & I were talking about that a while ago, but the $$ were going up up up into the nose--bleed-high-range.. That anonymous entrepreneur who made the old logo hoods a year or two ago obviously did not have $10K invested.. What are we missing here?
