Chas Andrews wrote: Ok, *this* is impressive. Is this one of those Brooks saddles with the narrow rails? Hard to tell. If so, the buyer will then need the usually-very-expensive and hard-to-find Campagnolo post for narrow-rail saddles. Total package, for post and saddle, could start to close in on a grand. Like I said...I'm impressed.

Even for the saddle alone, I'm impressed. Yeah, it's supposedly NOS, but *still*---jeez.

++++++++++ I have one of the Campagnolo-railed saddles, which is about to go to Great Britain for a new top. I am quite certain that the eBay model is not one:

1) Holding my own decrepit saddle in the same position as the posted one's rear view, the apparent angle of the rails is quite different. 2) Mine never had bag loops. 3) The embossed Brooks emblem on mine is sort of a modified keystone, while the eBay version has the oval emblem.

But, since I can't imagine spending that amount on a saddle on my budget, it is immaterial. Wistfully,
