Those stems, said to be remniscent of the Cinelli, come in deluxe and regular- one of which is very long and some say a bit over the top. The finish on one is said to be slightly better (both are nice). They are both available on the Rivendell site. If you want to maintain the vintage look but need height to get comfortable, I don't think there is anything else. The unusual stem raisers (an adapter of sorts I guess) are supposedly ugly- Imagine the height you could get using both together! I wonder if they had vintage bike lovers in mind when they designed the Technomic. I love mine but could have tried the longer version too.

"I have had a Technomic stem quill hit bottom inside the steerer on a slightly too small 53cm frame."
