The lever is C-Record, used with either Delta or Cobalto brakes. The hoods are from the same era. I think the white ones were usually found on C-Record, but essentially identical ones in black or gum were found on the lower-line Victory and Triomphe brakes, which were basically the old NR but with a cheaper QR. This hoods can still be bought NOS for $20 to $25 a pair, so you didn't hit the jackpot, but these are nice user hoods for old NR/SR barkes while you save those world logo gums for shows.

With all the ongoing talk about Campy hoods, reproduction versus NOS, etc this is sort of ironic. I was out riding with my wife and daughter yesterday and at a red light an old fella was sitting on his porch apparently taking a rest after raking leaves off his sidewalk. He looked us over while I smiled at him and then he said to come over to his porch steps. He went inside and a few minutes later he came out with a paper bag and hands it to me and then says, "My kid always collected this kinda stuff... he's dead now and I ain't got no use for it. Take it" I took a quick peek inside and could see part of a brake lever, I thanked him and we went on our way.

I'll be the first to admit I know nothing about Campy other than it's Italian-made and that's about it. I took some photos and thought who better to know what year, model, etc than the fine folks on the CR List.

Everything appears to be rather clean and unused, the hoods have a few little smudged/dirty areas even though the photos made them look quite clean. Here are 2 photos of the hoods and 2 of the levers...

So did I hit paydirt or just dirt? Seriously, just curious what they are, year/model, etc... any info much appreciated.
