Subject: [CR]leather bar wrap

I just did a project for myself and the folks on the IBOB list where I ordered several hundred dollars worth of leather bar wrap from an Amish harness maker in Springs Pa. (the highest point in Pa. the harness maker tells me). I hadn't offered any to the folks on this list because of initial fears that it would be viewed as off topic. Several folks have encouraged me to think of it as a rather classic accessory that some of you might be interested in. It comes in three colors Honey (very close to the Brooks color, perhaps a little less red), dark brown and black. It has skivered edges like a modern cork tape and is about as long as they can get it from the cow. It runs about $25 a set and I am about to contact the harness maker and place another order because we ran through $500 worth of it for IBOB folks in 90 minutes. It will take a couple of weeks, maybe more now with the Holidays at hand, to get. I have passed it along at that rate without taking any profit. If you would like me to order you some, get with me very quickly as I intend to put the order in right away. The first batch was beautiful and that's all I can tell you. I am not guaranteeing it in any sense and if you buy it, you own it. I am only ordering it for you and not going to accept any returns. Like I say, if that sounds ok to you, I'll order you some. Drop me a line off list and let me know. The black sold out first, surprisingly, I thought the Honey would be the big demand in it.
