Subject: [CR]wtb: old campagnolo record bb

I'm looking for the old-style Campagnolo Record bb: spindle, bearings, cups and lockring, italian threading, 170mm spindle...the old Record with the thin cups.

later Gran Sport bbs had the same dimensions, and I could live with one of those, but I'd like to at least try to find the original stuff first. I could also live without the fixed cup, which I already have, as you might imagine...permanently cemented into the frame in question.

If you have an old Record bb to sell, or even just spindle and adjustable cup, in good shape, please let me know.

Thanks.

Concerning Carlos Kleiber one of the greatest of all post-war conductors:

The glamour often associated with a conductor's life held no appeal for him; he preferred to stay at home in Munich. He once told Leonard Bernstein: "I want to grow in a garden. I want to have the sun. I want to eat and drink and sleep and make love and that's it."
