Edward; The bike is worth if you think it so. Just because the builder might be relatively unknown means little, and to me makes the bike a little more interesting than restoration of an every day somewhat boring boring Cinelli, Masi etc. I'll get on my soap box for a few minutes if I'm allowed.

You most likely know of my facination for Hetchins, and one reason is that I've never seen two exactly alike. Once you've seen one Masi, Cinelli etc they mostly resemble each other and get a bit boring from my limited perspective, despite the great rideability and fine workmanship. Sorry I'm generalizing a bit.

Our hobby needs folks like yourself and others that will help keep alive small production frames from shops that only made a few here and there. There were over 11000 Hetchins produced and who know how many Masi, Cinellis etc. They will survive just because of production numbers. I'm planning on diverting away from Hetchins in the future and plan to divert into smaller little known builders from the UK, not saying if a rare Hetchins comes along, that I wouldn't be interested.

As for decals, I've a shop that can reproduce decals of high quality for a very reasonable cost. If you provide accurate digital shots of the decals, the makers computer can adjust for the curve of the tubing and reproduce decals for you.
