Subject: [CR]Correct compotents for a restoration project

For the sake of discussion lets say a person at a young age bought a Hetchins in 1955 with campagnolo and cinelli parts. Rode the bike 15 years (1970) and needs new campagnolo and cinellii compotents due to all his original being worn out due to high miles per year. He goes to his local bike shop and they him what is current and improved over what he had before. Plus they don't have 15 year old parts to sell anyways.Rides the bike 15 years (1985) and needs new campagnolo and cinellii compotents due to all his original being worn out due to high miles per year. Which would be the correct group to use on this bicycle for a correct restoration, 1955, 1970, 1985, or 2000 compotents. I would say the last compotents he used would be the correct ones to use.
